LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER
In 2017, the morning after I got engaged to be remarried, I snapped a photo of my ring to share with friends. But instead of feeling pure joy, I was surprised by a wave of shock and dismay—because all I could see were my hands. They suddenly looked older than my face, marked by signs of aging and damage I hadn’t noticed creeping in.
I tried everything to turn them back—prescription treatments, clinical-grade actives, even the most luxurious facial serums. What worked wonders on my face was far too harsh for the fragile skin on my hands. And traditional hand creams, mostly water and emollients, vanished before making a difference. Nothing truly addressed the problem.
It was only when I dug deeper into the science that it became clear: hand skin is biologically unique—thinner, more delicate, constantly exposed to UV, washing, and daily wear. No wonder it ages faster than our faces. And yet, the beauty world had overlooked them.
During the pandemic, when all that extra handwashing accelerated the damage, friends started confiding the same frustration. Their hands didn’t reflect how youthful and confident they felt. That’s when I knew it was time to create something different. Something made for hands.
That vision became Habelo—the first-of-its-kind Performance Skincare for Hands. Our Activating Hand Serum, powered by the proprietary HAB-1™ Multi-Peptide Complex and advanced biotech actives, delivers clinically proven results from Day 1. Paired with our patent-pending Treatment-Boosting Gloves—which seal in hydration, reduce transepidermal water loss, and drive actives deeper—we created what no hand cream can: a regimen that restores and transforms.
Habelo began with my story, but it’s for everyone. Our hands connect us, express us, and carry the most beautiful parts of our lives. They deserve the same care, science, and intention we give our faces.

P.S. The first photo was taken the morning after my engagement (aka "the photo that was never sent") in September 2017. The second photo was taken in August 2023 while I was formulating Habelo. And the final shot was taken in March of 2024 when I had finalized the Activating Hand Serum.
